My Occupation - Gunnery Sergeant (E-7), USMC. Training Chief for C Co 4th Tank Bn, USMCR. Bio - I’ve been in back in Iraq since February 1, 2005, however, connectivity has not been that great since my arrival. I am currently a part of an Iraqi Infantry unit (2nd Brigade, 2nd Battalion) assigned to patrolling the mean streets of Saclawea, Iraq. Saclawea is a city just North of Fallujah where the insurgency is still very much alive. We conduct patrols and offensive operations designed to keep the enemy from being able to plan and conduct their own operations. We have had great success in killing and/or capturing several high value targets that have been trying to do harm to Iraqi civilians and Coalition Forces. I fill the role of Advisor to an Iraqi infantry company on all matters pertaining to military operations. I am the only American that lives with these guys, and to be honest, it really isn’t too bad. They are great people for the most part. Their level of humanity is not accurately represented in the American media. They are the epitome of a revolutionary army in its infancy, and I’m glad to be part of its historic rise. Here are a couple of pictures on the lighter side of this war. I hope you can enjoy them. Chow time, MMM…. Lamb! A bridge too far, over a canal that I didn’t quite make it
across…. The lovely Iraqi countryside, complete with palm trees and weapons
caches. Personal Website - n/a Attended 10 Year Reunion - YES Attended Picnic - YES BJ,
